How much does a Bredenbeck’s Bakery wedding cake cost?
Our tiered wedding cakes start at $5.75 per serving. Final pricing is based on guest count, design complexity, flavor selections, decorative details, and any applicable delivery fees. Our team is always happy to work within your budget while creating a cake that perfectly reflects your vision for your special day.
What is included in my venue package?Bredenbeck’s Bakery proudly partners with over 50 venues throughout the greater Philadelphia area. As part of your venue package, your wedding cake includes the number of servings needed for your final guest count. Because of this, the number of tiers is determined by the total number of guests attending your reception.
Most buttercream cake designs are included in venue packages. Additional charges may apply for highly intricate lace details, metallic finishes, gum paste flowers, fondant accents, sculpted elements, or other advanced custom work.

When should I schedule my wedding cake consultation? To ensure availability for your wedding date, we recommend scheduling your consultation approximately 4–5 months before your wedding. Consultation appointments are typically booked about 3 weeks in advance, so we encourage reaching out as early as possible.
When are wedding cake consultations available?Wedding cake tastings and consultations are available Tuesday through Sunday. Appointment times vary based on availability. Please call 215-247-7374 for current scheduling information.
What should I bring to my consultation? We recommend arriving with a general cake budget in mind so we can guide you toward the best options within your preferred price range.
Feel free to bring inspiration photos, Pinterest boards, sketches, color palettes, or any ideas you may already have for your cake design. If you are still exploring ideas, no problem — our team has plenty of design inspiration and examples to share during your appointment.
What if I need to cancel my appointment? If you need to cancel or reschedule your consultation, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice. We will be happy to assist you in selecting a new appointment date.
Is a deposit required at the consultation to reserve my wedding date?No deposit is required during your consultation to reserve your wedding date. However, weddings with fewer than 55 guests do require a $35 consultation fee, which is due at the time of the appointment. Should you choose to move forward with Bredenbeck’s Bakery, this fee will be applied toward your wedding cake purchase.
Do you deliver wedding cakes?Yes! We offer wedding cake delivery for all events. Delivery fees are based on round-trip time and mileage.
For larger tiered cakes, delivery is highly recommended and handled by our experienced specialty cake delivery team to ensure safe transportation and setup.
How many guests may attend the tasting appointment? You are welcome to bring up to two guests in addition to yourself and your fiancé(e). Please note that each tasting tray is portioned to serve two people.
If additional guests will be attending, we highly recommend purchasing additional tasting trays so everyone in your party can fully enjoy the tasting experience. We kindly ask that you notify us at least 2 days in advance so we can properly prepare for your appointment.
