Our tiered cakes start at $5.25 per serving. Tiered cake pricing varies widely and is determined by design complexity, number of servings, as well as flavors and fillings involved.
We are always happy to work with your budget and make your dream wedding cake come to life!
Bredenbeck’s is partnered with over 50 venues in the greater Philadelphia area! As part of your package with your venue, a cake with the number of servings per head at your reception is included. Therefore, the number of tiers is directly determined by your final guest count.
Included in your package will be most of our buttercream designs, with the exception of highly intricate lace patterns, metallic colors, gumpaste floral, and fondant sculpture work.

In order to accommodate your big day, we ask that you schedule your appointment 4-5 months prior to the wedding. We typically schedule our appointments about 3 weeks out so we encourage you to reach out sooner rather than later!
We offer tasting appointments Tuesday through Sunday. Hours vary depending on availability so please call us at 215-247-7374 for details.
Please come with a cake budget in mind, so that we can be sure to stay on track with what you want to spend. Also, we welcome pictures or sketches of the cake you have in mind. (If you don’t have any, don’t worry! We have plenty of ideas and photos to share with you.)
If you must cancel, please contact us at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. We will be happy to reschedule you for another date.
No. However, we do require a $25.00 nonrefundable appointment fee for weddings smaller than 55 guests. This fee will roll over to your wedding cake cost should you choose to move forward with Bredenbecks.
Yes! Delivery fees are based upon time and mileage round trip.
You are welcome to bring up to 2 guests, in addition to your fiancé(e) and yourself. Please note, our complimentary tasting trays are meant to serve two. If you are planning on bringing guests, please let us know so we can be sure to have enough cake for everyone in your party to enjoy!
- Place top tier of cake in freezer unwrapped for 5-6 hours.
- Remove cake and cover it with clear plastic wrap.
- Seal with heavy duty aluminum foil to prevent freezer burn.
- Replace cake in bakery box and close. Place in freezer.
- Remove from freezer at least 5-6 hours before serving.
- Remove cake from box. Remove aluminum foil and plastic wrap.
- Set cake out at room temperature until completely thawed.
- Cut cake and serve with champagne! Enjoy!
